HS2 takes seriously its role in being a good neighbour every single day. The health, safety and wellbeing of the communities along the route of the new railway, and our staff, remains our top priority.

We are continually reviewing the works on our construction sites in line with Government and Public Health England (PHE) advice on dealing with COVID-19. The Government’s current strategy makes it clear that construction activity can continue as long as it complies with this guidance. Please be assured that only sites that can operate within the guidelines are operational. All sites will remain under constant review.

We have introduced a user-friendly interactive map to the HS2 website, making it easier and simpler for you to find out exactly what current and upcoming works we are carrying out in your area.

The new In your area map brings all our of work notifications together on one page, making it easier for you to navigate and ensure you are kept up-to-date on the work we are doing in your area.
