Events around Birmingham in June

This month we have a number of events happening around Birmingham covering a range of topics. You can find the full details for each event on our events page , but here's a quick preview for you:

  • Friday 7 June 6:30pm till late, Centrala, Unit 4 Minerva Works, 158 Fazeley Street, Birmingham, B5 5RT. Junction (part-funded by HS2 Community and Environment Fund ) in collaboration with IGers Birmingham are hosting a pop-up canal art photography exhibition. Tickets are available to book .
  • Saturday 8 June 11am - 4pm, The Parkside Building, City Centre Campus, Curzon Street, Birmingham, B4 7XG. We will be attending the annual Birmingham City University's Inspired Family Day . On the day you can meet HS2 and our archaeology contractor MOLA Headland. They’ve been working at the Park Street burial ground discovering new information about life and death in Birmingham during the 19th century, and are thrilled to share their findings with you.
  • Tuesday 25 June 12pm - 3pm at the Bond Company, 180-182 Fazeley Street, Birmingham B5 5SE. We'll be holding our regular monthly drop-in where you can come and talk to us about Curzon Street Station, find out about works in the area and learn more about community funding opportunities.
  • Wednesday 26 June 4:30pm - 8pm at Washwood Heath Academy Burney Lane, Washwood Heath, B8 2AS. Find out more about careers and employment opportunities via HS2 and its supply chain. Some real jobs will be available, along with advice on entering this labour market. More details will be available soon.
