Have your say on the latest designs revealed for the Saltley Viaduct and Aston Church Road Overbridge

The latest design for the Saltley Viaduct and Aston Church Road Overbridge in Birmingham has been unveiled and to help shape our final design we're inviting you to have your say . Saltley Viaduct and Aston Church Road Overbridge are existing structures that carry roads over the National Rail tracks, the River Rea and the Birmingham and Warwick Junction Canal, two miles north east of the city centre. Extra space is needed underneath both structures for the HS2 line to pass through which means the existing structures will need to be entirely rebuilt.

Saltley Viaduct and Aston Church Road Overbridge are significant structures that span the area and cross other major transport links. Before we begin construction, we are seeking your views on some specific details of the Saltley viaduct and Aston Church Road overbridge. These are:

  • Parapet perforation
  • Walkway surface colours
  • Lighting tones
