HS2 Notification: Lane and footway closures on Moor St Queensway, April 2020 (this is amended see above post)

We will be carrying out lane and footway closures on Moor Street Queensway -

Over the coming months, we will continue to work on roads in central Birmingham to help us plan our future utility diversions and prepare for the construction of the railway. To carry out utilities installations safely, we need to manage traffic in the area.

This will include temporary lane and footway closures from the 14th of April for up to five weeks. Local pedestrian diversions will be in place and we’ll put up signage to explain these changes to road users and pedestrians. Lane closures will be in place during core working hours (8am to 6pm). Footway closures will be in place for the duration of the works.

For more information, please see the Moor Street Queensway notification, which includes a map showing the appropriate diversions.

This schedule is subject to change depending on site and weather conditions, and evolving measures to combat coronavirus . We’ll keep you informed of any adjustments at www.hs2inBirmingham.co.uk .

If you have a question about HS2 or our works, please contact our HS2 Helpdesk team on 08081 434 434 or email HS2enquiries@hs2.org.uk .
