News on HS2 in Birmingham

We previously notified you about some utility surveys in central Birmingham taking place in March and April 2020. You can read our previous works notification here.

The programme for the GPR surveys required on Priory Queensway and Moor Street Queensway has been revised. Surveys will now be starting on Sunday 5 April and core working hours are 10pm to 6am. This will require some overnight road and lane closures, as outlined below.

Priory Queensway (overnight road closure):

Expected start date: Sunday 5 April

Expected end date: Thursday 9 April

Moor Street Queensway (overnight phased lane closures)

Expected start date: Thursday 9 April

Expected end date: Thursday 23 April
