News on HS2 in Birmingham

Later this month we will be continuing our work on roads in central Birmingham to help us plan for future utility diversion.

So that we can carry out this work safely we will need to put in lane and footpath closures on Moor Street Queensway and Masshouse Lane. Signs will be in place for pedestrians and road users with details of diversions.

Depending on the results of this work we may need to return to the area during October to carry out utilities installations, this work would take place until early November. Our latest notice details the diversions that will be in place for both sets of works.
