Local HS2 Careers, Employment and Skills Event

Next week we will be hosting an event in Washwood Heath.

You'll be able to find out more about careers and employment opportunities via HS2 and its supply chain. Some jobs will be available, along with advice on entering the construction industry.

Join us on Wednesday 26th June 2019 from 4:30 pm - 8 pm at Washwood Heath Academy - Primary School. Burney Lane, Washwood Heath, B8 2AS

At this event, you will be able to:

talk to people who currently work on HS2 to hear about how they got involved with the Project;

learn more about the different types of skills and jobs that will be needed to build and operate the railway;

have 1-to-1 sessions with organisations that can prepare you for work, identify education and training options in your area;

meet experts who can help with CV writing and job interviews; and

chat with employers about ‘live jobs’ that are available
