Moor Street Queensway southbound closure (Monday 4 January - Friday 8 January 2021)

Over the coming months, our contractor LMJV will be continuing work on roads and footpaths in central Birmingham as we carry out utilities diversions in preparation for the construction of HS2’s Curzon Street Station and the railway.

As part of this work from Monday 4 January to Friday 8 January 2021, we will be implementing a temporary closure on the southbound carriageway of Moor Street Queensway.

This will mean access to Carrs Lane for loading and delivery vehicles is via the northbound carriageway only - this means a temporary suspension of the bus gate restrictions while this work is carried out.

Access to Moor St Station, Selfridges and Bullring car park is via the ring road and Digbeth.

Diversions are fully signed and details can be found in this leaflet.

Alterations to bus services will also take place and you are advised to check before you travel at wmnetwork.co.uk during this period.
