National College of High Speed Rail - open day

Tomorrow ( Saturday 29th June 2019 ) the National College of High Speed Rail is holding their open day from 10am - 2pm at the National College for High Speed Rail Open Day , 2 Lister Street, Birmingham, B7 4AG.

By attending you'll have the opportunity to find out more about the higher education full-time courses available for learners aged 18 and over. At this event visitors will be able to:

tour the state-of-the-art facilities,

experience the specialist virtual and augmented reality learning equipment,

hop on board a former Eurostar power car,

speak to curriculum staff and attend a Q&A session with current students.

Staff from HS2 Ltd will also be present at the NCHSR Open Day, highlighting some of the opportunities Britain’s new railway has to offer including jobs, skills and career prospects.

HS2 Ltd would also like to invite businesses and local communities to attend the Open Day, as specialist staff will be on hand to discuss supply chain opportunities and provide more information on how those living along the route may be able to apply for funding as part of the £40 million earmarked for community and business projects along the route.
