News on HS2 in Birmingham

Having assessed how the new railway will affect the water and sewer network, Severn Trent will need to carry out sewer diversion work at the location of Erskine Street running adjacent to the River Rea.

All works will be in a secured area and an increase in construction traffic during the full extent of the works is to be expected to take place between June 2021 to April 2022.

We will do everything to keep noise and dust down to a minimum during the construction of the sewer diversion.
